Designed to replace an aging and dilapidated rental property, the new three level apartment design had to overcome Queenstown’s tight planning constraints along with challenging geotechnical requirements to avoid the foundations of the neighbouring dwellings

With sweeping vistas to Lake Wakatipu, large glazed facades take full advantage of views, together with large covered verandas to provide shelter.

The design takes its inspiration from the surrounding land forms with the dominant angular roof which reflect the sites terrain and the mountain ranges to which it faces.
