Emma joined Designgroup Stapleton Elliott in 2022 as a Landscape Architect. She has a background in environmental restoration, landscape design, and landscaping, and has previously worked for Wellington Botanic Gardens and Ōtari-Wiltons Bush.

Inspired by how government process impacts landscape design and environmental decision making, Emma is completing her Master of Resource and Environmental Planning at Massey University. She is interested in the intersection between design and planning and how this is reflected in our landscapes and built environments.

Emma is driven by creating accessible and sustainable landscape designs that reflect the unique natural and cultural heritage of Aotearoa.
