With over 10 years of experience, Tara has worked in practices across New Zealand, Australia and the UK and is now based in DGSE’s Tauranga Studio. Tara has a very strong skill set in Commercial and Multi-Unit projects and has led medium to large Multi-Unit, Commercial and Mixed-use projects, together with Commercial Interiors projects, for both Government and private sectors. Working through the nuances of design, resource consent, and attaining the balance of yield versus amenity are key areas of focus.

Tara works to provide the best outcome for all stakeholders, understanding and negotiating the relationships between clients, user groups, and Territorial Authorities. Professional and transparent communication are her hallmarks and Tara thrives on the challenge of both coordinating complex large-scale projects and diving into the detail of smaller, more intimate work.
