Workplace + Interiors
DGSE's Tauranga Studio provides an environment to support our team and achieve a thriving workplace culture, facilitating connection, collaboration, and creativity.
Our studio features a series of spaces which transition from arrival and a sense of compression, before releasing into a central volume with high ceilings and uninterrupted views of Tauranga Harbour.
This central space includes workstations and social zones and is complemented by a series of breakout, collaboration, and meeting spaces. These vary in scale but all connect to the central space and views beyond.
Responding to its prominent waterfront location, all workstations orientate towards the harbour and full width glazed sliders ensure connection between people and place.
The design draws reference to the local area featuring materials such as plywood, timber furniture, and exposed concrete; texture using acoustic fin ceilings and natural tones, such as soft green cabinetry, reference the Kaimai Ranges.
