Khyber Pass

The highly visible site facing a busy junction required a sleek architectural response to address the corner. Façade treatment facilitates engagement with the public at street level. Office spaces above are differentiated with tinted glazing, offering added privacy and solar shading. The addition of staggered vertical fins gives relief to the elevations whilst reflecting the architecture of the surrounding environment.

The brief required an environmentally conscious design for the regeneration of an existing structure. A NABERS rating was attained for the coordinated base build upgrades.

The design creates an exposed industrial internal aesthetic. Detailed coordination and selection of every element was considered and integrated, with all components elegantly resolved.
