Providence Point

Providence Point housing development sits at the northern end of Auranga, on the inner reaches of Manukau Harbour's Pahurehure Inlet. The site presented an opportunity to create higher density living within proximity to local amenities on the main transport route. The development occupies four super lots running north/south, with the southernmost lot acting as the anchor and gateway into the neighbourhood.

Three northern city blocks are bounded by two north-south streets with an internal jointly-owned access lot (JOAL) that binds the development. Mixed housing typology consists of two, three and four-bed terrace townhouses with dual living towards the street and JOAL. Three-storey walk-ups are strategically located at each corner of the site.

The typology mix provides opportunity for an enriched diverse community. At the heart of the development is the central park area consisting of west and east forests and a glade that facilitates a range of different community gatherings and play areas.
