The 29,297m2 site abuts the Hutt River in Lower Hutt. A new Master Plan, and look and feel concept design that respected the local neighbourhood, was progressed to achieve Resource Consent approval.
The vision is to create a strong community aesthetic which celebrates a unique location within an established neighbourhood and community. Standing alongside and overlooking the Boulcotts Farm Heritage Golf Course and surrounding ‘park-like’ environments, Summerset Boulcott also takes in the backdrop of the Belmont and Rimutaka ranges.
Each building has its own identity achieved through the use of varied forms and materials. A common thread of re-occurring materials used in a variety of ways, creates a village that is viewed as a whole and which embodies a clear identity and sense of place.
